My head is an animal
I don't know which way it wants to go.
I cannot make it move, I cannot make it stay
I command it to obey, it only says no.
It opens its mouth, deep and dark jaws
To let loose a cry painfully loud
Stars will explode and the skies will shake
Afraid of the light, I try to hush the sound.
The animal is wild, moving these hands of mine
Dirty paws I now call my own.
I am part of the night, the blackened sky
Prowling and mad, scary and alone.
