I consider the entire Earth to be my home, and all her life forms are my family and my responsibility. I long to be a giver as quiet and dignified as the Earth, who provides and forgives and feels no fear in letting go of the ones she loves. Like her trees and flowers and mountainous peaks, I will always offer myself, but reach ever skyward and above to unite with the silent energy in places touched by the purest sun. That is how I remember my duty to my heart. That is how I remember I am happy to be with myself.
Kindness ought to be offered quietly, like falling blossoms from a tree at Spring's end.
Kindness should leave the giver with a feeling of freedom, communicating to others in the language of the soul, but through the body and mind. And each human owes to themselves that ocean of generosity and gratitude called self-love - a state of being sadly infringed upon by the expectations, selfishness, and ignorance of others. But when we find our unique place of peace and relinquish the need for approval and validation, we discover the river that flows within has always been endless and perfect. The shores are a treacherous place, but onward we flow. Others will feel and see, and every night, the stars will reflect in the surface of your soul because you are their equal. You will never lack the energy to be giving, because your infinite potential will become your religion and ritual.
Why have I taken birth in this magnificent form? To embrace my incarnation of rare design, blossoming and blessed, a product of cosmic fortune and Earthly sacrifice. All I am, I can give, because it has never been mine.
I am bright. I am kindness. I do not belong to myself.
You are bright. You are kindness. You do not belong to yourself.
